Ahmad Ismail Racist Remark

Quoted from TheStar

GEORGE TOWN:Bukit Bendera Umno division chief Datuk Ahmad Ismail has reiterated he would not apologise over his alleged racist remark, calling the Chinese community “immigrants who do not deserve equal rights”.

He told reporters Friday at Penang Umno headquaters he was merely referring to the country's history before Merdeka and was referring to the Chinese labour brought in by the British.

Ahmad also blamed the reporter of a Chinese daily for twisting his (Ahmad's) words for his own agenda.

Ahmad was alleged to have called the Chinese 'pendatang' (immigrants) at a ceramah prior to the Permatang Pauh by-election.

His statement caused a furore and condemnation from various political parties both within the Barisan Nasional and outside.

Several police reports were also lodged against him.

Imagine... we've independance for 51 years, and yet there's still racism remark especially from a so call Nation leader. What a shame to Malaysia when tourist say we are a peaceful multiraces country. This is the kind of people that will cause chaos to the nation. What make matter worst is he refuse to apologise after making such shitty remark. Today he added "Why should I apologise?", is it that hard to say 'Sorry'? I'm so ashamed to have such a sore loser as one of the leader of the nation. Only know how to blame others for his own wrong doing. Be a MAN, stand up and face it. I think he's curently listed as Malaysia Most Hated Person

Who is he to call the Chinese community “immigrants who do not deserve equal rights”. Never ever forget, who is the original bumiputera, it is NOT the current Malay communities. It is those Kadazan/Dusun, Iban, Sakai, the orang asli, aboriginal peoples; THEY are the original people of the country!!! To think about it we (Malay, Chinese and Indian people) are all immigrants!!! Are you (Datuk Ahmad Ismail) from the original people? Else, don't talk cock and bull shit.

No wonder, BN lost so much this time... They better kick this people out ASAP and don't just 'No Action, Talk Only' if they want to win the next election. Should take a serious consideration from the lesson from the by-election at Permatang Pauh... People just do not vote a certain group (PKR/BN) because they dislike a certain person in the party of the group, too much of damages have been done by the parties in BN in the past...
